Confirmed General Authority of Roads, that measuring compliance The Saudi Road Code is one of the most important tools to ensure the application of approved technical standards, which contributes to raising the quality of Road projects, enhancing safety levels, and improving the efficiency of implementation in various regions of the Kingdom.
The Authority explained that the process of measuring compliance goes through four stages, which begins with filling out questionnaires by the road-owning authorities and sending them to the General Authority for Roads, followed by selecting a sample of projects to measure their compliance with the requirements of the Saudi Road Code.
It added that the third stage consists of carrying out field visits to verify the application of the code’s standards on the ground, while the process concludes with submitting a corrective plan that includes the necessary recommendations to address Feedback and enhancing levels of compliance.
