Abu Dhabi Police is implementing an initiative "Good summer for workers" To enhance their safety during the summer
Al Ain, July 10 / WAM / The Traffic and Security Patrols Department – Al Ain of the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with “Fazaa”, implemented the “Summer of Goodness” initiative for workers from various professions in the internal and external areas of the city of Al Ain, as part of its efforts during the Year of the Family 2026 to enhance social responsibility and preserve the health and safety of the worker category during the summer.
Colonel Saeed Ali Al Hassani, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Security Patrols Department for Security Patrol Affairs in the Al Ain region, confirmed that the initiative embodies the Abu Dhabi Police’s commitment to consolidating human values and promoting a culture of prevention and safety, based on its keenness to support labor groups and appreciate their vital role in the development process, noting the importance of institutions and community members joining forces in providing a safe and healthy environment for workers, especially during periods of high temperatures.
He explained that the initiative included the distribution of water bottles, cold juices, snacks, sun hats, and a number of protective supplies, which contribute to reducing the effects of exposure to summer heat and preserving the health of workers while performing their work.
The team of the Traffic Awareness and Education Branch in the Al Ain region implemented a set of field awareness programmes, which included distributing guidance brochures in several languages, which included instructions on preventing heat stress and the importance of avoiding direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours, ensuring that awareness messages reach various nationalities and target groups.
The initiative received positive interaction from the workers, who expressed their appreciation for this humanitarian initiative, appreciating the Abu Dhabi Police’s continued interest in their safety and health, and its keenness to implement community initiatives that enhance the quality of life and consolidate the values of solidarity and community solidarity.
