The Police Leadership Council discusses a number of security reports and artificial intelligence skills during its fourth meeting

ABU DHABI, 10 JULY / WAM / His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Chairman of the Federal Police Leadership Council, chaired the fourth meeting of the Council for the year 2026, in the presence of police commanders, senior officers and officials in the Ministry of Interior and the General Police Commands, at the Police Officers Club in Dubai.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed a number of presentations, security reports, and policies related to security and operational performance at the state level, within the framework of enhancing the efficiency of the security system and supporting its strategic goals.
The Council discussed the results of the traffic accident death rate index per 100,000 population during the first half of 2026, and reviewed the main direction of the UAE government regarding the assistive artificial intelligence project, in addition to discussing policies related to the security aspect and mechanisms to support their implementation.
On the sidelines of the meeting, an introductory workshop entitled “Assistive Artificial Intelligence Skills” was carried out under the supervision of the General Administration for Competency Development in the Ministry of Interior, and in coordination with the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence and G42, the world leader in the field of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, with the aim of enhancing security leaders’ knowledge of artificial intelligence skills and applications, and enabling them to employ them in developing institutional performance and supporting the security work system.
