Intercepting and shooting down 3 ballistic missiles coming from Iran

The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army announced that air defense systems intercepted and shot down, at dawn on Wednesday, three ballistic missiles that entered Jordanian airspace coming from Iranian territory.
The Jordanian News Agency “Petra” quoted an official military source in the General Command as saying that the interception and shooting down operation did not result in human casualties or material damage.
He explained that the Royal Engineering Corps teams dealt with the shrapnel that fell in a number of sites, in accordance with the approved technical and security procedures, and the sites were secured and the necessary measures were taken, to preserve the safety of citizens and property.
He stressed that the armed forces will deal with any intrusion or threat into Jordanian airspace in accordance with the approved rules of engagement, and will take all measures to ensure the protection of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and the preservation of its national security, without complacency or delay.
