With the participation of 23 trainees… the conclusion of the acting and directing workshop in Dammam
The Theater Authority and performing arts today, Thursday, Acting and directing in the city of Dammam, within the program "From idea to stage" In its fourth edition, with the participation of 23 male and female trainees, as part of the Authority’s efforts to develop national competencies and develop skills in the theater and performing arts sector.
The workshop was held during the period from 5 to 16 July of this year, and included a training program that combined theoretical and applied aspects, which contributed to developing the skills of the participants in theatrical performance, and enhancing their knowledge of the various elements of the theatrical process.
Developing theatrical presence
The workshop focused on developing Theatrical presence, enhancing the ability to interact with the audience, developing physical and vocal expression tools, in addition to building theatrical character, analyzing texts and scenes, and exploring methods of improvisation and dealing with dramatic situations, which contributes to qualifying practitioners more ready to work in the fields of theater and performing arts.
The workshop also provided the participants with opportunities to develop creative imagination and theatrical awareness, and acquire the expressive tools necessary to embody characters and build acting performance, through practical applications and exercises that focused on theatrical presence, teamwork, and strengthening the relationship between actor and director. And the audience.
