"Wall Street" Close on contrast and"Nasdaq" declines 0.56%

NEW YORK, JULY 23/WAM/ Major US stock indices on Wall Street closed mixed on Wednesday.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 index fell by 10.72 points, or 0.14%, to close at 7,498.48 points, and the Nasdaq Composite index fell 145.48 points, or 0.56%, to 25,691.72 points.

On the other hand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.52 points to close at 52,226.16 points.
