Sharjah Electricity reduces the period for issuing no objection certificates to 2 hours instead of 3 days

The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority announced a new qualitative achievement in the digital transformation process, which was reducing the time required to issue No Objection Certificates (NOC) to only two hours, instead of 3 working days, as part of its continuous efforts to develop services and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
He explained Director of Shared Services Department at Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority Engineer Abdul Rahim Al Zarouni said that this achievement comes in implementation of the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, regarding the necessity of facilitating procedures and supporting the business sector and development projects in the emirate, as the Authority has adopted modern technologies and an advanced electronic system that allows immediate processing of requests and automated verification of data, which contributes to accelerating the pace of work on vital projects.
He stressed that this modernization is not limited only to the speed of completion, but rather aims to create an attractive investment environment in the Emirate of Sharjah, where the No Objection Certificate is a basic pillar of the infrastructure sector.
He added that the authority made it possible to submit applications through its website and smart application around the clock, while providing the feature of tracking the application status immediately, which ensures complete transparency in dealing with the public.
