A fire that broke out in two regasification and storage ships in Damietta Port was brought under control without injuries

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in Egypt confirmed that a fire had occurred in a regasification ship and another for storage in the port of Damietta on Wednesday, noting that the competent authorities dealt with the fire without causing any injuries or human losses.
The Ministry explained in an official statement that the emergency teams are communicating with the competent technical authorities to complete the work and take the necessary measures in accordance with the approved standards.
It also called on the media and social media users to obtain information from the official statements issued by the Ministry, stressing the continuation of real-time monitoring of the situation and announcing any developments.
