The Endowments will open 25 mosques next Friday

The Ministry of Endowments continues its efforts to reconstruct the houses of God – the Almighty – by opening 25 new mosques next Friday, the 5th of Jumada al-Akhirah 1446 AH, corresponding to December 6, 2024 AD, in various governorates, 22 of which are under the replacement and renewal system, and three mosques for maintenance and development.

The Ministry announced that the total number of mosques opened since the beginning of July 2024 until now has reached 467 mosques, including 349 replacement and renovation mosques, and 118 maintenance and development mosques, and confirmed that the total number of mosques that have been replaced, renovated, maintained and furnished since July 2014 amounted to 12,548 mosques, at a total cost estimated at approximately 20 billion and 109 million pounds.

It saw a list. The mosques scheduled to be opened have a wide geographical diversity. In Beni Suef Governorate, the works included Replacement and renovation of the Taiba Mosque located in the village of Sanur, east of the Nile, Bandar Beni Suef; The Great Mosque located in the village of Heliyeh, Biba Center; Ezbet Faisal Mosque, located in the green village of Ihnasia, Beni Suef Center; And maintenance of the Grand Mosque located in the village of Manshiyet Abu Malih, Samasta Center.

In Al-Buhaira, the works included replacing and renovating Al-Rahman Mosque in Izbat Al-Asakra, Saft Al-Hurriya Village, Itay Al-Baroud Center; And the Halfaya Mosque in the village of Jabars, Tabba al-Nabira, the center of Itai al-Baroud. And Al-Qaraji Mosque in Basalqoun village, Kafr Al-Dawwar center; Al-Rahma Abu Hijab Mosque in Al-Hajar village, Kafr Al-Dawwar center; And the Ebad Al-Rahman Mosque next to the cemeteries, Wadi Al-Natroun center. Muhammad Karim Mosque in Al-Darwiyah Al-Bahriyya Village, Abu Homs Center; And the maintenance of the association’s mosque in the village of Al-Hammad Al-Sharqi, Rashid Center.

In Ismailia, the Abu Juman Mosque in Izbat Al-Arab, the center and city of Abu Suwayr, was replaced and renovated.

 And in Alexandria, the works included replacement and renovation. Al-Rahman Mosque on Al-Jalaa Road, Al-Amriya 2.

In Gharbia, the works included replacing and renovating the new mosque in Kafr Attia, the center of Qutour.

In Minya, the works included replacing and renovating Al-Rahman Al-Haj Amin Mosque in the village of Saft Al-Sharqiya, Minya Center; Khamis Mosque in Saliba village, Samalout center; And Khaled bin Al-Walid Mosque in Ezbet Khalil Abd, Heya village, Minya center.

In Assiut, the works included replacing and renovating the El-Gendiya Mosque in Bani Hussein village, Assiut center; And the construction of Al-Hassan Mosque, Sheikh Najib, Al-Qusiya Center.

In Fayoum, Al-Mustafa Mosque was constructed in Al-Muqatila village, Tamiya Center.

In Al-Sharqiya, the works included replacing and renovating the Bani Quraysh Mosque in Al-Azzazi village, Faqous Center; Al-Zaghaibah Mosque, Old Salihiya, Faqus Center; Barakat Al-Ramali Mosque in Al-Husseiniya Center; And the establishment of the Al-Wahid Al-Ahad Mosque in the neighborhood 26, the 10th of Ramadan.

In Qena, the Tahrir Mosque, Bandar Deshna, was maintained.

These efforts confirm the Ministry of Endowments’ commitment to developing and modernizing places of worship to provide an appropriate faith environment.
