The Egyptian Ambassador to Paris meets with the President of the Arab World Institute within the framework of enhancing joint cultural cooperation

The Egyptian Ambassador to Paris met with Ambassador Dr. Tarek Dahrouj, as “Jack Lange” President of the Arab World Institute in Paris and former French Minister of Culture, within the framework of strengthening cultural cooperation between Egypt and the Arab Institute.

Jack Lange expressed Expressing his great appreciation for Egypt and its ancient cultural and artistic heritage, he pointed to the remarkable turnout witnessed by the Egyptian-themed events organized by the Arab World Institute in Paris, including: the “Cleopatra’s Treasures” exhibition; It is currently held at the Institute, which receives wide attention from the French public.

The meeting discussed the ongoing preparations to launch a special celebration on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of international director Youssef Chahine, which is scheduled to be organized next January at the Arab World Institute in Paris, where “Jack Lange” indicated: The Arab World Institute will organize a series of performances and cultural events to celebrate Youssef Chahine’s cinematic heritage and his outstanding contributions to world cinema.
