1,026 projects in various sectors presented by the King Salman Relief Center for Women in the most needy countries around the world

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, has paid great attention to women in the most needy countries around the world. Since its establishment until now, the Center has implemented 3,135 projects in 106 countries at a cost exceeding 7 billion and 144 million US dollars, including 1,026 projects. Humanitarian aid aims to provide assistance to women in several countries around the world, including various humanitarian sectors that ensure that women play their full role in their society, at a total cost of 687 million and 173 thousand US dollars.

 The Center’s projects in this aspect included enhancing protection services for vulnerable and displaced women in the targeted countries, empowering them economically and building their capabilities by providing training programs for them in the professional and commercial fields and providing them with the necessary tools that will help them in Creating income generating opportunities; In a way that contributes to improving the livelihoods of them and their families.

 Since the beginning of 2024, the humanitarian aid provided by the King Salman Relief Center has reached more than 3,978 women and girls in Yemen, including training, economic empowerment, and mental health care. To enable the most needy women and girls in Yemen to restore their lives and achieve their dreams, in partnership with the United Nations. The Kingdom participates with the world in celebrating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which falls on November 25 of each year. With the aim of raising awareness about the extent of the problems facing women around the world, and enhancing the honorable image of their achievements and successes in all fields.
