The Emirates Health Council discusses the results of transformational projects

During its sixth meeting of the current year 2024, which was held today in Dubai, the Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services Corporation discussed a number of purposeful topics, including the institutional performance for the third quarter and the rates of completion of transformational projects. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Salim Al Olama, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the presence of Board members, and His Excellency Dr. Yousef Muhammad Al Sarkal, Director General of the Emirates Health Services Corporation.

Al-Ulama stressed that the institution is keen to be one of the first government agencies to work on the transformational projects approach since its launch at the state level, with the aim of creating a qualitative shift in the level of providing health services that rely on the latest modern technological technologies, which enhance treatment protocols and provide the highest standards. For his part, Al Sarkal explained that the meeting aimed to discuss the results of implementing transformational projects according to the plans and specific time stages, in line with the organization’s vision to be the world’s leading destination in providing the highest standards of health services, and improving the quality of life of individuals by providing proactive and integrated health and treatment services, and an existing health system. The latest advanced health and therapeutic technologies, and a work environment based on competencies and professional health talents.

He added that the Board of Directors meeting discussed the results of the major transformational projects for the second session (2023-2024), and their importance in achieving the axes of the UAE Vision 2031, noting the outcomes achieved through the transformational projects and the results of the institutional performance of the third quarter, noting the importance of applying successful experiences and adopting best practices. During the meeting, the members of the Council discussed the recommendations of the Audit and Risk Committee, as well as the recommendations of the Development and Improvement Committee, and discussed the financial performance of the institution and the decisions and recommendations of the previous meeting of the Council..
