Saeed Al Dhaheri, CEO of Ergonomic Care, which specializes in manufacturing prosthetic limbs and orthotics, said that the company’s future vision is directed towards expanding the scope of manufacturing to include all emirates of the country. He explained that the company seeks to provide innovative solutions for people of determination by using advanced technologies such as “3D scanning” to take accurate measurements, in addition to “3D printing” to manufacture prosthetic limbs that are compatible with patients’ needs, which contributes to improving their quality of life in a sustainable manner.
For her part, Fatima Al-Ali, laboratory engineer at the National Factory for Security and Safety Products, said that the factory pays great attention to developing shoes in a way that suits customers’ needs and environmental requirements, as the factory has an advanced laboratory equipped with the latest devices to test the materials used, noting that the factory provides tactical shoes and boots. For safety in various types, such as hiking shoes and shoes for the medical sector, in addition to meeting the needs of major companies such as ADNOC, Al-Ittihad and Borouge.
She stressed that the factory focuses on providing products that comply with international standards of safety and quality, with the aim of supporting local companies and meeting market needs.
In the same context, Abu Dhabi Customs, during its participation in the first session of “Abu Dhabi Business Week,” reviewed an innovative experience to learn about the customs clearance journey in the emirate, through the use of advanced technologies such as the “hidden customs system,” supported by artificial intelligence, which contributes to facilitating procedures and improving… Operations efficiency.
The customs clearance system from outside the country was also highlighted, which allows non-resident individuals and unregistered companies the ability to clear goods through land, sea and air ports in Abu Dhabi, which enhances the speed of procedures and reduces time and effort.
Abu Dhabi Customs presented the facilities provided to approved economic operators, which help reduce clearance time, which reduces financial costs and increases the efficiency of the movement of goods, in a step aimed at enhancing the economic growth of the emirate.
