4.7 million beneficiaries of initiatives "Dubai Electricity" Humanity during the first half

Dubai, December 6 / WAM / During the first half of this year, male and female employees of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) recorded 14,528 volunteer hours in humanitarian and community initiatives, benefiting 4 million, 763,973 people in the United Arab Emirates and abroad.
According to a press release issued today, the Authority launched 19 community initiatives during this period within the framework of its social responsibility and its endeavor to achieve a balance between the requirements of economic, social and environmental development according to a clear framework for integrated institutional work to serve and delight the community.
His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said that the Authority adopts an integrated strategy for social responsibility based on the inherent principles and values ​​on which the UAE is based in giving and social solidarity, and is keen to include this humanitarian approach in all areas of its work and activities.
Between 2013 and 2023, the Authority launched a total of 438 community initiatives, through which its male and female employees registered 232,973 volunteer hours in humanitarian and community initiatives that benefited many countries around the world.
In 2023, the community’s happiness rate for the Authority reached 93.55%.
