The Dubai Shopping Festival kicked off yesterday, taking celebrations across the city to new levels, announcing the beginning of the exceptional and unique 30th edition, which includes a group of international entertainment events, inspiring adventures, and unforgettable experiences, to create an atmosphere full of excitement and creativity in Dubai. It is unparalleled. This session is expected to be the largest in the festival’s history, with a schedule of events full of fun and excitement across the city every day from December 6, 2024 until January 12, 2025.

Organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation, this distinguished edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which begins at the weekend with stunning opening celebrations, begins with the distinguished 321 Festival with the participation of the most prominent stars from the Arab world and South Asia. The program also includes drone shows and fireworks twice a day, in addition to unique family entertainment experiences such as festival nights at Dubai Festival City Mall, and Hatta x Dubai Shopping Festival. This year, the festival offers the largest shopping offers, in addition to major raffles and special prizes that add more excitement.

The busy entertainment season opens with the much-awaited return of the 321 Festival, where music fans enjoyed two concerts on the opening weekend at Coca-Cola Arena, with mega-stars George Wassouf and Kazem El Saher. The opening weekend of the Dubai Shopping Festival witnessed the launch of the Festival Nights activities at Dubai Festival City, sponsored by Talabat, where an exceptional group of free family entertainment offers were presented to suit all ages. The season begins with an exceptional atmosphere with the artist Ahmed Saad’s concert tonight, as part of the free concerts that will be held this evening at 9:30 pm. In addition, every Sunday night at 10:30 pm, Festival Bay hosts the world-famous “X Factor” program in cooperation with the Dubai Shopping Festival and Dubai TV, where visitors have an exceptional opportunity to follow emerging talents from all over the region in front of a jury that includes stars Ragheb Alama, Rahma Riad, and Fayez Al-Saeed, in an exciting competition to choose the new rising star.

The first weekend of the Dubai Shopping Festival witnessed the launch of free daily fireworks displays presented by Al Zarouni Group at Dubai Festival City Mall, while the sky in the Hatta area is lit up on Friday and Saturday of each week at 8 pm.

Bluewaters Island and The Beach opposite Jumeirah Beach Residence will begin hosting twice-daily drone shows, presented by Emirates Petroleum and AO Drones, at 8pm and 10pm. The displays will include 1,000 drones telling enchanting stories about Dubai’s heritage and future over the sea and beaches in this iconic location.

Nature lovers and adventure lovers will find their ideal haven with “Hatta Fun, family experiences, as well as amazing fireworks displays on Friday and Saturday at 8 pm.
