10 research centers to support Emirati scientific discoveries and innovative technologies

The Technological Innovation Institute affirmed its endeavor to find effective solutions for society to overcome its main challenges, by following an integrated methodology that enhances scientific discovery through the use of advanced and modern facilities and in cooperation with a group of leading international institutions. He pointed out that he conducts his research through 10 affiliated research centers, works on 27 global patents and has more than 100 international partnerships, which reflects his success in building a research system centered around finding effective solutions based on his independent and joint research with partner institutions.

The Institute is considered part of the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) of the Abu Dhabi government, which oversees technological research in the emirate.

The institute includes 10 research centers, including the Advanced Materials Research Center, the Digital Science and Artificial Intelligence Research Center, the Autonomous Robotics Research Center, the Biotechnology Research Center, the Cryptography Research Center, the Directed Energy Research Center, the Space and Propulsion Systems Research Center, the Quantum Research Center, and the Renewable and sustainable energy research, in addition to the Safe Systems Research Center.

During its organization of the “Annual Artificial Intelligence Summit,” the Institute affirmed the commitment of its research centers to innovation in materials science and the development of metals and compounds for future uses, and to lead digital transformation efforts by consolidating the adoption of independent and interconnected systems and applications, and ensuring that these applications and systems are safe, sustainable, and as Highly confident, leading the innovation and development of robotic systems, computer vision, and bio-inspired technologies, and harnessing recent advances in molecular, cellular, and digital sciences to build… Human expertise and biotechnology. The tasks of the center’s research centers include finding effective solutions to deal with digital threats, developing directed energy systems and technologies in the region to contribute to protecting the world around us, finding solutions for various sectors such as medicine and infrastructure, leading research and training efforts in the fields of advanced propulsion systems and space exploration, and promoting Emirati research in the fields of dynamics. Artificial Intelligence Summit

Last week, the Technology Innovation Institute concluded the inaugural edition of the annual Open Source Artificial Intelligence Summit, which attracted an elite group of international scientists and experts to exchange views on the future of open source artificial intelligence technologies and ensure their responsible and ethical use for the benefit of humanity.
