3.32 million taxi trips in Ajman during the first quarter of 2026

The Ajman Transport Authority recorded an increase in the number of taxi trips during the first quarter of 2026, as the number of trips reached 3,322,268 trips, compared to 3,146,769 trips during the same period in 2025, an increase of 175,499 trips, with a growth rate of about 5.6%.

The Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Agency, Engineer Sami Ali Al-Jallaf, confirmed that this growth reflects the increasing demand for taxi services in the emirate, and its high levels of safety and operational readiness, in addition to the reliance on modern vehicles equipped according to the best standards, which contributes to providing a safe, comfortable and reliable transportation experience for customers.

He explained that taxis represent one of the vital components of the transportation system in the Emirate of Ajman, due to their important role in meeting daily transportation needs efficiently and flexibly, pointing out that the authority continues to develop its services, improve the quality of its fleet, and adopt modern solutions, in a way that enhances the flow of movement and improves the quality of life in the emirate.
