المملكة: The Finnish Ambassador reviews the progress of the Malwah race at the Falconry Festival
Finnish Ambassador Anu-Erika Viljanen visited the King Abdulaziz Falcon Festival 2024, today, to see the global event, whose activities are organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, at its headquarters in Malham (north of the city of Riyadh).
The ambassador was briefed on the method of the Al-Malwah race, and the details of the falcons’ preparation for the Al-Malwah rounds. She also learned from inside the judging room about calculating the arrival and departure time for the falcons, and the area of the race track (Al-Sanah).

I enjoyed an explanation about the distribution of prizes, amounting to 36 million riyals, to the winners of the Al-Malwah and Al-Mazayen competitions, at the conclusion of the festival.

The Finnish Ambassador expressed her thanks to the Saudi Falcons Club for the good reception and hospitality provided by the club, praising the efforts made by the club in preserving the culture of falconry, passing it on to children and involving children and women in the ancient identity.
