Mohammed Al Sharqi reviews the latest developments in health programs in Fujairah
FUJAIRAH, December 9, 2018 (WAM) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, met in his office at the Emiri Diwan with His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Health Services Corporation.
During the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah was briefed on the latest developments in the programs and initiatives of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in the emirate, and the “Hayat” program platform, the national platform dedicated to donation and organ transplantation in the UAE, which aims to improve the quality of healthy life.
The efforts of the Emirates Health Services Corporation in providing distinguished health care and enhancing preventive and curative services in Fujairah were also reviewed.
His Highness stressed the importance of cooperation between various institutions in the health sector, to ensure the provision of integrated services that contribute to raising the level of health care in the emirate, noting the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to support and develop the health care sector as one of The most important vital sectors that contribute to improving the quality of people’s lives.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, expressed his appreciation for the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and his continued support for the health sector in the emirate, stressing that the Ministry seeks, through its programs and initiatives, to enhance cooperation with all local authorities, with the aim of improving the level of Health services and expanding their scope in the Emirate of Fujairah.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Saeed, Director of the Fujairah Medical District.
