The Israeli occupation arrests 40 Palestinians from the West Bank
The Israeli occupation forces launched a massive arrest campaign that targeted at least 40 Palestinians from the West Bank, including former prisoners.
The Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated, according to what was reported by the agency Palestinian News "Wafa" Today, Tuesday, the arrest operations were concentrated in the Jericho and Hebron governorates, while the rest of the arrests were distributed in the Qalqilya, Jenin, Tubas, and Bethlehem governorates.
She indicated that the occupation forces, during the arrest campaigns, continue to carry out widespread raids and torture, Assaults and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to field investigation operations, vandalism and destruction of citizens’ homes.
It is noteworthy that the toll of arrests since the start of the war The ongoing genocide and comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people has reached more than 12,000 people from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, while institutions have not been able to date to count the cases of arrest from Gaza, which are estimated at thousands, as a result of the occupation carrying out the crime of enforced disappearance against them.
