The Saudi Minister of Information confirms the centrality of the Palestinian issue to the Kingdom
The Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, stressed the importance of employing Arab media work to support the Palestinian cause, and the necessity of Arab media joining forces to highlight the decisions issued by the extraordinary Arab and Islamic summit in Riyadh recently, which confirmed the centrality of the Palestinian cause, and the firm support for the Palestinian people to achieve their rights. legitimate nationalism, and finding a just and comprehensive solution based on international legitimacy resolutions.
This came during his chairmanship today of the (20) regular session meetings. The Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of heads of Arab delegations, institutions and unions exercising media duties with observer status at the Council of Arab Information Ministers.
He said: “We are meeting today to discuss 12 items within the framework of the efforts.” The Arab League aims to develop joint Arab media work, foremost among which is the Palestinian issue, stressing the importance of the unified Arab plan to interact with environmental issues in the media.
He touched on The Kingdom is hosting the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Desertification (COP16) and the One Water Summit, and the importance of highlighting their outcomes in the Arab media.
The Minister of Information also pointed out the importance of employing artificial intelligence techniques in the Arab media, and investing in Its role in enhancing content and analyzing audience behavior, calling for benefiting from the experiences of the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence held in Riyadh; To develop the performance of Arab media work.
The meeting discussed ways to improve media content, in addition to the most important issues related to the role of the media in confronting the phenomenon of terrorism, and the efforts of the Arab League to follow up on the plan for Arab media action abroad, as well as the Arab media map.
