"Resolve " It concludes its activities

ABU DHABI, 11TH DECEMBER / WAM / The activities of the “Resolve 2024” conference, hosted by Abu Dhabi Global Courts and the Abu Dhabi Global Center (ADGM), for dispute settlement, concluded today as part of the activities of the second day of Abu Dhabi Financial Week.
The conference witnessed talks with the participation of the global conflict resolution community, along with a group of sector leaders and government agencies.
The ADGM conference was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, and the Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre, along with LexisNexis as a knowledge partner.
The third session of the Resolve Conference, which was held under the slogan “Resilience,” provided an opportunity for attendees to listen to the experiences, visions and ideas of a group of international leaders, as they highlighted their flexibility and the flexibility of their clients.
The conference was chaired by His Excellency Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, where he participated as a keynote speaker. He pointed out the importance of the Resolve conference, which reflects the country’s commitment to building a vibrant, prosperous and sustainable economy, with the vision and directives of the wise leadership to ensure justice, equality and equal opportunities by establishing solid legal frameworks, pointing out The event reinforces Abu Dhabi’s global leadership position in the field of innovation, flexibility, and development of financial and legal systems.
The dialogue session entitled “Collective Lawsuits for Societal Harm and Sharp Criticisms of Silicon Valley” was one of the most prominent activities of the event, as it witnessed a wide turnout from attendees.
With the expansion of class action lawsuits globally, major technology companies, including social media platforms and other advanced technology companies, are facing increasing legal pressure from litigants who claim that these companies cause societal harm. Experts discussed the landscape of disputes in this sector, especially the conflict between purposeful innovation and To profit and protect consumers.

The event also witnessed a panel discussion on “Adapting to the Legal Boundaries of Artificial Intelligence,” led by Amir Ghafi, Partner at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver, & Jacobson, LLP, where he touched on the evolution of AI technologies and the regulations and regulatory frameworks that are being worked on.
