The Amman Stock Exchange and “Edaa” join the “Tabadul” platform

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange signed an agreement with the Amman Stock Exchange and the Jordanian Securities Depository Center to join the “Tabadul” platform. The signing ceremony was held in Abu Dhabi during the Middle East Investor Relations Association “MIRA” 2024 conference. Based on the agreement, the Amman Stock Exchange becomes the eighth stock exchange participating in the “Tadab” platform, after the Armenian Stock Exchange recently joined it.
The joining of the Amman Stock Exchange and the Jordanian Securities Depository Center to the “Tabadul” platform contributes to enhancing cross-border trading and investment opportunities between various countries in the region, simplifying trading operations, and encouraging communication between various parties. Investors in the two exchanges will benefit from access to a wider range of securities and participation in initial public offerings. Thus, the exchange platform continues to connect markets and enhance activity between them, and plays its role as a pivotal platform for financial integration and innovation in the Middle East region.
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange launched the Exchange platform in July 2022, and it is considered the first digital trading center in the Middle East. It is based on the mechanism of mutual access to markets, as the platform facilitates cross-border trading, connects member financial markets, and also enables brokerage companies to access… Seamlessly to the markets within the exchange network within the framework of agreements concluded between the markets, which provides more opportunities for investors to invest across various markets. In this context, Abdullah Salem Al Nuaimi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Group, said: “We are pleased to welcome the Amman Stock Exchange and the Jordanian Securities Depository Center as the newest members of the digital exchange platform, and their joining the exchange platform is an important step towards enhancing the integration of financial markets across all sectors.” Throughout the region, this partnership will contribute to strengthening relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, providing investors with more diverse investment opportunities in the most important developing markets.”
He added: “The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange is keen to confirm its permanent commitment to promoting innovation through strategic cooperation that supports our vision of creating a globally integrated financial system.”
