Italy targets exports exceeding 700 billion euros by 2027

 The Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Taiani, announced that the Italian economy aims to achieve an export value exceeding 700 billion euros by 2027.

The Italian Minister confirmed – in a press statement issued after the National Conference on Exports and Internationalization of Business Today, Wednesday – working to raise the added value of Italian exports and increase the technological and innovative content of exported products.

 

He pointed out that exports constitute more than A third of Italy’s gross domestic product, explaining that exports worth 626 billion euros were recorded last year, in addition to achieving fourth place globally in the value of exports in the first quarter of the current year, surpassing Japan.
