Ras Al Khaimah Economy will implement 4,326 training hours in 2024

Ras Al Khaimah, 19 December / WAM / The Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah completed 4,326 hours of training during the year 2024 as part of its annual plan, in order to raise the efficiency of human resources and ensure the development of work mechanisms and the rapid completion of customer services and their happiness.
Training is considered an important part of the department’s strategic plan, as it enhances the role of its human resources, increases their productivity, refines their talents, and raises their cognitive and cultural level.
Nabila Al Zaabi, Director of the Agency’s Support Services Department, pointed out the importance of investing in human competencies to enhance sustainable development in human resources, as 122 employees underwent training programs within an integrated plan to hone their professional and behavioral skills, and the employees thus completed 4,326 hours of training.
She pointed out that the training programs varied between customer service, employee happiness, crisis and disaster management, first aid, social responsibility, public speaking, media presentation, and others.
Al Zaabi added that the department’s employees contributed to enhancing social responsibility through a number of internal and external activities and initiatives towards society, with a total of 1,236 volunteer hours, in addition to the department’s keenness to qualify and train students from various universities and colleges, whose number reached 26 trainees and volunteers.
