America announces additional aid to Sudan amounting to $200 million

Washington announced Thursday that it has allocated an additional $200 million to confront the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, bringing the total US aid to $2.3 billion.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said, during a meeting on Sudan of the United Nations Security Council: “The United States has worked a lot with partners to provide assistance to Sudan, and today we are announcing an additional amount of about $200 million.”
