The Jordanian army thwarts an attempt to smuggle narcotic drugs using a drone
The Jordanian Army announced that the Southern Military District thwarted, this evening, Saturday, an attempt to smuggle narcotic drugs using a drone on its western front within its area of responsibility.
An official military source in the General Command of the Armed Forces said Jordan – in a statement today -: “The border guard forces in the southern military region, in coordination with the military security services and the Narcotics Control Administration, were able to thwart the infiltration of a drone that attempted to cross the border,” indicating that the rules were implemented. The clash occurred after it was monitored and followed up, as it was dealt with and its cargo dropped inside Jordanian territory.
The source confirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are continuing to harness their various capabilities and capabilities to prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling operations and by force to maintain the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
