Mohammed Al Sharqi witnesses the conclusion of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship
Fujairah, December 21, 2017 – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of international competitions in general and equestrian competition in particular in enhancing the cultural heritage of the UAE, and the importance of spreading it across generations.
This came during his attendance at the conclusion of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship in its ninth edition, which was held under the patronage of His Highness, in the field of Fujairah Castle, in the presence of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arabian Horse Association, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi. .
His Highness praised the level of organization of the tournament, its results and its objectives towards enhancing the position of the Emirate of Fujairah in the equestrian sector at the global level, attracting those interested in it from around the world, and conveying the meanings and values it represents in Arab history.
His Highness pointed out the support and directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship. For its role in enhancing the position of the Emirate of Fujairah and the UAE in the field of equestrian sports at the global level.
His Highness honored the three winners of the Stallion Championship, the sponsors, tournament partners and the judging committee. His Highness also crowned the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud, which won the Fujairah Golden Sword in this year’s edition of the tournament.
The conclusion of the tournament was attended by a number of officials and dignitaries.
