Coverage of government treasury bill issues

The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that Issue No. 2049 (ISIN BH0003056288) of the weekly government treasury bills issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain has been covered.

The value of this issue is 70 million Bahraini dinars for a maturity period of 91 days beginning on December 25, 2024 and ending on March 26, 2025. The average interest rate on these notes reached 5.68% compared to the interest rate of 5.83% for the previous issue dated December 18, 2024.

The average discount price reached 98.586%, and the lowest participation price was accepted at 98.544%, noting that the issue was covered by 129%.

The outstanding balance of treasury bills with this issuance amounted to 2.110 billion Bahraini dinars.
