Power outage to tens of thousands of homes in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that power was cut off to tens of thousands of homes in the north of the country, after heavy snowfall accompanied by strong winds.
The local electricity authority said that electricity is currently cut off for about 60,000 subscribers as a result of heavy snowfall accompanied by winds.
The storm is expected to intensify in the coming days, and snowfall reaching a height of 100 centimeters will be recorded in mountainous areas by tomorrow evening.

Floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bosnia and Herzegovina witnessed a dry winter last year as no snow fell, which led to a decline in the levels of lakes and rivers.
Heavy rains led to floods last October, killing 27 people in the south of the country.
