A Swiss plane made an emergency landing after smoke emanated from the cockpit

An Airbus plane belonging to the Swiss airline “Swiss”, which was heading from Bucharest to Zurich, made an emergency landing in Austria, due to engine problems and smoke emission in the cabin and cockpit, which led to 17 people on board being injured and requiring medical care.

Swiss, owned by Lufthansa, explained that the plane landed in the Austrian city of Graz, and a member of the plane’s crew was transported to the hospital by helicopter, noting that the condition of the injured is still unclear.

The company confirmed that it is in contact with the authorities and is working to determine the cause of the accident.
