Astronomical report .. Seeing the crescent of Eid Al -Fitr on Saturday, March 29, is not possible from the Arab region

The International Astronomy Center emphasized that most of the countries will investigate the crescent of the month of Shawwal (Eid Al -Fitr 1446 AH) on Saturday 29 March 2025 AD, and the vision of the crescent on that day is impossible from the east of the world, and it is not possible from the rest of the Arab and Islamic world regions using all monitoring means, including the abstract eye, telescope and astronomical imaging technology as well, while it is possible to use the telescope only from the center and north of the American continent with the fact that the vision is very difficult of East of the American continent, even using the telescope, and there is no possibility to see the crescent with the naked eye except from the Pacific regions of the west of the United States.
The center said in a report published on its website (X), regarding the status of the crescent on Saturday, March 29 in some Arab and international cities, the surface accounts of the crescent at the time of sunset as follows: In Jakarta the moon is absent six minutes before sunset, and therefore seeing the crescent in Indonesia and around it is impossible because the moon is not in the sky. In Muscat, the moon is absent after 05 minutes from the sunset, and he is one hour and 48 minutes old, and after the sun is only 1.5 degrees. In Makkah Al -Mukarramah, the moon is absent after 08 minutes from the sunset, at the age of 03 hours and 28 minutes, and after the sun is only 2.2 degrees. In Amman and Jerusalem, the moon is absent after 11 minutes from the sunset, at the age of 03 hours and 55 minutes, and after the sun is only 2.3 degrees. In Cairo, the moon is absent after 11 minutes from the sunset, at the age of 04 hours and 17 minutes, and after it from the sun is only 2.4 degrees. In the ligament, the moon is absent after 19 minutes from the sunset, at the age of 08 hours and 05 minutes, and after it from the sun only 3.8 degrees. In Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, the moon is absent 24 minutes from the sunset, at the age of 06 hours and 49 minutes, and after the sun is only 3.5 degrees.
The center pointed out that seeing the crescent in all the aforementioned areas is not possible, neither with the naked eye nor using the telescope, especially since they are all less than the international “Dangon”. It is a French scientist that the vision of the crescent is not possible with the naked eye or the telescope if the moon after the sun is less than about seven degrees, which is supported by the reliable astronomical meteorology of the crescent. Moreover, the vision of the crescent is also not possible according to all known international standards, including the standard of “Elias”, a Malaysian astronomer specializing in the vision of the crescent, and the standard of “Yalp”, who is the director of the former Greenwich Observatory and former head Current standards.
As for the countries that require the correct vision of Al -Hilal, it is expected that several Ramadan will be 30 days and that Eid al -Fitr will be on Monday 31 March. But due to the occurrence of the conjugation on Saturday, March 29, before sunset and the moon’s sunset after sunset from the center and west of the Islamic world, it has been the custom of such circumstances that some countries announce the start of the month the next day, and it is not unlikely to announce some countries of Eid Al -Fitr on Sunday 30 March.
Rather, the vision of the crescent on Saturday, March 29, is not even possible by using the latest scientific technologies in monitoring the crescent, which is the technique of astronomical imaging using the CCD camera, which can see the crescent even in broad daylight due to its superior strength, so after the moon from the sun at sunset on Saturday, it ranges between 1.5 degrees in the eastern Arab world to nearly three degrees in its west, and these values do not allow the vision of the crescent even by using this technique, but with the naked eye, so it did not The vision of the crescent proves a correct vision when it was less than 7.6 degrees, and by using the telescope, it has not been proven to see at less than 6.0 degrees.
To emphasize the absence of the possibility to see Al Hilal on Saturday from the Arab region, the globe will witness a partial eclipse of the sun on Saturday afternoon seen from parts of the western Arab world such as Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. The eclipse of the sun is a visible conjugation that people watch with their own eyes and provide evidence that the crescent cannot see its time or a few hours after it.
Based on the foregoing scientific and sensory evidence seen with the naked eye on Saturday, it is necessary to pay attention to the illusory certificates that may be received on that day, in the event of their arrival, it definitely emphasizes the error that some people may make in the illusion of seeing their families that are not present in the sky.
