المملكة: The “Teach Me” initiative enhances educational and societal performance in Jeddah’s education
The Director General of Education in Jeddah, Manal bint Mubarak Al-Lahibi, launched the “Educate Me…We Share Knowledge” initiative, which was organized by the Cognitive and Skills Assessment Department at Jeddah Education.
The event took place with the virtual participation of the directors of the General Administration for Cognitive and Skills Assessment and Educational Supervision at the Ministry of Education, and in the presence of the Assistant Director-General, advisors, and directors of relevant departments and divisions, in the main meeting room at the administration’s headquarters.
Achieving school and community awareness
During her speech, Al-Lahibi stressed the importance of the initiative and its role in achieving school and community awareness that contributes to improving performance in national and international tests.
She praised the efforts of the Cognitive and Skills Assessment Department in preparing and implementing this initiative.
Communication with the school and community
The Director General of the General Administration for Cognitive and Skills Assessment at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Abeer Al-Shahrani, the importance of the initiative and its expected impact in enhancing educational outcomes and educating parents and students about the importance of communicating with the school and the community.
Dr. noted. Ahmed Al-Amiri, on behalf of the Director General of the Educational Supervision Department at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Fahd Al-Suhaimi, praised the quality of the initiative and its role in improving educational outcomes and enhancing the educational aspect of students.
Improving learning outcomes
Assistant Director General of Jeddah Education for Educational Affairs, Tawashi Al-Kanani, explained that the initiative will contribute to improving learning outcomes and increasing cultural and cognitive awareness among students and parents, which will reflect positively on the entire educational community.
Meanwhile, Director of the Cognitive and Skills Evaluation Department at Jeddah Education, Abeer Qashqari, explained that the initiative includes two tracks: a general track that aims to achieve basic knowledge, and a special track that focuses on achieving in-depth knowledge among all educational groups, which enhances knowledge integration between the school and society.
