Wholesale absences hit Zamalek before facing Zesco

Zamalek is preparing to start its campaign in the group stage of the African Confederation Cup, when it faces Zambia’s ZESCO United in the first round, amid a list of influential absences announced by the technical staff.

The team roster witnessed the absence of a number of players due to injuries or technical reasons, as all of them are absent:

Mahmoud Bentayj: strain in the posterior muscle

Ahmed Rabie: strain in the connective muscle

Nasser Mansi: Injury

Mahdi Suleiman, Ahmed Hamdi, Mohamed El-Sayed, Salah Mosaddeq, and Saif Farouk Jaafar were also excluded for technical reasons.
