Lebanese source: The Israeli army opened fire on UNIFIL forces in the south of the country

A Lebanese security source reported, today, Wednesday, that Israeli army forces opened fire inside the town of Yaroun in southern Lebanon, using medium machine guns, towards a joint patrol between a team from the Lebanese Red Cross and the Irish-Polish unit working in UNIFIL.
The source explained – according to the Cairo News Channel – that the shooting at the patrol came as it was heading to evacuate an elderly woman from inside the aforementioned town, without causing any casualties. Which forced the patrol to retreat towards the city of Bint Jbeil, indicating that the shooting from the Israeli side came despite the coordination of the mission with the liaison device, and combing is still continuing towards the aforementioned city.
