Israeli and American officials: The chances of reaching an agreement before Trump’s inauguration are slim

Senior Israeli and American officials ruled out reaching a truce and prisoner exchange agreement before the inauguration of US President Trump.

They added to the Hebrew Walla website that there is little chance of reaching a prisoner exchange agreement and a ceasefire in Gaza before the inauguration of President-elect Trump in January 20.

 

Trump threatened that there would be "hell in the Middle East" If Hamas does not release the hostages held in Gaza by January 20.

100 Israeli prisoners are still being held by Hamas in Gaza, including seven Americans.

 

< p>According to Israeli intelligence, it is estimated that about half of the kidnapped people are still alive, including three Americans.
