Sharjah, December 28 / WAM / Yesterday, Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler in Khor Fakkan, opened the fifth edition of the Sharjah International Youth Basketball Championship, which is organized by the Sharjah Sports Council in cooperation with the Jam Sports Academy and the Khor Fakkan Sports and Cultural Club, with the participation of 35 people. Two teams and 500 players representing 10 countries.
The opening day witnessed great excitement and high technical levels, as each team sought to reserve its place on the podium.
In the U-12 category, Jam Sport Emirates won over the New Jordanian English School with a score of 9/63, Khor Fakkan beat Hobbs Qatar 46/52, and Al Sharjah Sports beat the Jordanian English School 14/46.
In the U-14 competitions, the Russian Dynamo defeated Amman United of Jordan (36/95), Al Sharjah Sports Club defeated the English Jordanian School (31/76), the English Jordanian School team also defeated the Serbian Combo (56/78), and No. The French Won defeated the English-Jordanian School B with a score of 18/137, the Spanish Nixp Hobbs defeated the Indian Hobbs Dreams 32/156, and the Serbian Combo also won the Khor Fakkan Sports Club (66/73), the Qatari Hobbs beat the Jordanian English School (69/71), and Al Hamriyah beat the Indian Hobbs Dreams (28/88).
