Two subway stations in Rome evacuated after a fire
Two subway stations in central Rome were evacuated on Sunday, after a fire broke out in an abandoned warehouse near two stations popular with tourists.
Fumes from the fire coming from a warehouse in Villa Borghese Park caused smoke to leak into the ventilation system at the nearby Flaminio subway station.
This led many to believe that the fire broke out inside the station itself, which sparked panic among travelers and spread a state of panic inside metro stations.
