As part of the 2025 Ramadan drama season, which will begin at the beginning of next March, fans of historical drama are waiting for the return of historical Arab works, after the Jordanian director, Samer Jabr, has nearly finished editing the episodes of the series “Swords of Arabia,” which brings together the stars: Salloum. Haddad, Munther Rayahna, Bassem Yakhour, Nidal Najm, Muhammad Al-Muftah, Ghazi Hussein, Nasser Abdel Reda, Faisal Rasheed, and others.
The entire series was filmed in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh last July, according to what director Samer Jabr published on his personal account on the Instagram platform, without revealing other details.

In view of the historical dramas presented by the stars of the series in their previous works, it is expected that the series, which sheds light on a very important time period in Arab history, and whose events take place between the two periods: pre-Islamic times and the Umayyad Caliphate, will enjoy a large audience following, given the public’s always enthusiasm for following dramatic works. , which deals with historical stories about the past of the Arab nation and its previous superiority.
“Swords of the Arabs” is considered the first Arab work that combines the documentary aspect and drama in a cinematic nature, and tells the story of the history of “The Arab Sword” by reviewing the most prominent stations that the Arabs have gone through throughout the ages with an advanced directorial vision.
The series was written by a writing workshop, under the supervision of researcher and screenwriter Dr. Muhammad Al-Batoush, and presents meaningful Arabic content by reviving important historical details in an interesting and attractive manner.

In addition to the series “Swords of Arabs”, which returns Salloum Haddad to historical works after years of absence, the Syrian star will be present in the next Ramadan drama season, through his participation in the Syrian social series “Serum”, alongside: Shukran Murtaja, Bassem Yakhour, and Abeer. Shams El-Din, Anas Tayara, Safaa Sultan, Muhammad Khair Al-Jarrah, and Andre Eskaf, along with other stars. The events of the series “Serum”, by author Saeed El-Hanawy, take place in a social police context, to be different from the works on the Levantine environment, presented by director Tamer Ishaq, during the past years.
As for the artist Munther Rayahna, he will appear in the Ramadan 2025 drama through the series “Hakim Pasha”, which brings him together with the artist Mustafa Shaaban, in the second cooperation in a row after their success, together, in the series “The Teacher”, which was shown in the Ramadan 2024 drama season.
