"health" Wins the Excellence Award in Technology Leadership and Innovation
Dubai, December 30 / WAM / The Ministry of Health and Community Protection won the Excellence in Leadership and Innovation Award, within the “Tech Innovation Awards” organized by “Entrepreneur Middle East”, which reflects the consolidation of the UAE’s leadership in improving government services and facilitating procedures to keep pace with technology. Advanced, and enhancing confidence in the Ministry’s competence in the field of innovation and sustainability, as a role model for technical solutions and qualitative innovations that meet the requirements of future transformations and the quality of digital transformation in the Emirates.
The Ministry received this award, during the ceremony held in Dubai for participants in technical projects from Middle Eastern countries, for the innovative projects it completed, namely the electronic services project, the smart application of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, the Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence project, in addition to the “Zero Trust” project. Project”.
His Excellency Abdullah Ahli, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry, stressed that making customers happy and driving digital transformation through implementing innovative projects and employing emerging technologies is one of the Ministry’s strategic priorities, indicating that being crowned with this award reflects the level of its digital leadership and represents an incentive. To develop these projects and expand the use of smart solutions for customer services, in line with the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025.
For her part, Hamda Al-Mazmi, Acting Director of the Information Technology Department at the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, pointed out that the process of digital transformation reflects the advanced competitive position of the Ministry, through the availability and ease of access to its services, and the improvement of the customer journey and their happiness.
