Road closure times on New Year’s Eve in Dubai

The Dubai Government Media Office published the dates for road closures on the occasion of New Year’s Eve 2025.

The media office stated on its official account on the “X” platform that the closures will start from four in the afternoon, and the closures will include Al-Mustaqbal Street, the Lower Financial Center Street, and Al-Asayel Street.

Al-Sukuk Street will be closed starting at eight in the evening, while the Upper Financial Center Street will be closed starting at nine in the evening.

The Dubai Government Media Office stated that Sheikh Zayed Road will be closed starting at 11 pm in both directions between the Trade Center roundabout and the intersection of Al Safa Street or Al Meydan Street.

In a previous press release, the media office called for the necessity of following the instructions provided by the security personnel at the celebration site, as well as the information signs installed in the place, adhering to traffic rules, giving priority to pedestrians crossing from the places designated for them, avoiding crowding or jostling, and using the areas designated for pedestrians. Be considerate of others and avoid behaviors that might cause distress or spoil the joy of the event.
