Police and local media said that several people were killed in a shooting on Wednesday in the city of Cetinje in Montenegro, and that the shooter fled.
The police sent special forces to search for the armed shooter in Cetinje, about 30 kilometers northwest of the capital, Podgorica. A statement said that the man opened fire and fled the scene of the crime with a weapon.
Police identified the shooter by his initials (AM) and said he was 45 years old. No other details were provided.

Disturbed behavior

State television RTCG said seven people were killed in the shooting that followed a bar fight.
The channel’s report stated that the man was known for his erratic behavior and had been arrested in the past for illegal possession of weapons, and the television station published a photo of the suspect on its website.
The report stated that he returned to his home to take his weapon and then returned to the site of the incident, where he opened fire, killing and wounding several people. It added that he then went to another site where he killed children and a woman.
