Diversity in film screenings "Cinema Palace" During January 2025

The Garden City Cinema Palace will screen, starting next Monday and throughout the month of January, 14 free cinematic films for the public and palace patrons, within the program of the Ministry of Culture, and the agenda of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, under the supervision of writer Muhammad Nassif, Vice President of the Authority.

The films presented vary between European, Indian, and international cinema, in addition to animated films presented for children, all of which are shown at eight in the evening, and some of them are followed by a number of critical seminars, in which critics participate. The events begin with the movie “The Mitchells vs. the Machines" It is an animated film shown within the Animation Cinema Club, and the next day the World Cinema Club presents the film “Hit Man”, which is an action and mystery film, and adapted from a video game of the same name.

 

On January 8, the movie “Force Majeure” will be presented. Within the European Cinema Club, it tells the story of a Swedish family that goes to enjoy a vacation in the Alps in France and skis, and something happens to them that they did not expect.

 

On January 9, the Indian Cinema Club will witness the film “Dilwale Dulhania le Jayenge,” and on January 13, the Between the Storyteller and the Film Club will present the Arabic film “On Sullivan’s Paper,” and the next day it will show the film "Allied" Within the World Cinema Club, its events take place in 1942 in Casablanca during World War II and its story is about love, war and espionage.

 

On January 15, the meeting with the European Cinema Club will be renewed with the screening of the film " ;la french", and on January 20 we will watch the movie "The Magnificent Ambersons" Within the foreign classic film club, followed the next day by the film "Drive" Within the World Cinema Club, its events revolve around a driver whose life changes with many exciting events.

 

The European Cinema Club presents the film "A Pure Formality" On January 22, it is about a writer who lives in isolation, but events suddenly change, and on the 27th of the same month, the Arab film “The Cell” is shown. On the occasion of the celebration of the Egyptian Police Day, while the next day, the film “Broadcast News” will be presented. Within the World Cinema Club, its events take place on television news channels and about a love story that arises between the heroes.

 

On January 29, we will watch the movie “The Emperor of Paris” Within the European Cinema Club, it is a French historical drama film whose events take place during the period of Napoleon Bonaparte. The screenings conclude at the end of the month with the screening of the film “Veer-zaara” Within the Indian Cinema Club.

 

The program is implemented through the Cinema Palace headed by Siham Bahr, affiliated with the General Administration of Specialized Palaces headed by Dr. Mona Shair, and under the supervision of the Central Administration for Studies and Research, headed by Dr. Hanan Moussa, and it comes in light of the plan of the Culture Palaces Authority to spread cinematic culture.
