A 5.5 magnitude earthquake strikes northern Ethiopia

An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck northern Ethiopia today.

 

The Euro-Mediterranean Center reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of ten kilometers, 55 kilometers away. Northwest of the town of Aspe Teferi, no injuries have been reported so far.
