Dubai Municipality awards the second phase of the Al Mamzar Beaches Development Project

The project aims to enhance the beach infrastructure according to innovative designs that connect the creek and the Corniche seamlessly, and add a new beach tourist destination with international entertainment specifications that take into account sustainability standards and future climate changes. It also aims to create a qualitative shift in the concepts of beach designs around the world by providing integrated beaches equipped with entertainment, sports, and investment facilities, according to the highest specifications that enhance Dubai’s position on the global tourism map, and confirm the extent of its keenness to provide all the elements that enhance the quality of life. The area of ​​Al Mamzar Corniche Beach is 125,000 square metres, and its width is 80 metres. It will include a public beach designated for women, and will be available for night swimming according to a design that takes into account the highest international standards and meets the requirements of privacy and security. In addition, the public beach on Al Mamzar Corniche will include 1,000-meter running, walking, and bicycle paths, all of which will be connected to Al Mamzar Creek Beach, and Al Mamzar Park, as the first design of its kind in the region that combines beach paths and gardens, providing a unique experience for visitors to the region, in addition to To green spaces designed according to the best standards of cosmetic agriculture. It will include an area designated for seasonal events and activities with an area of ​​5,000 square metres, another area for skating games with an area of ​​2,000 square metres, and play areas for children, restrooms and beach sessions..

As for facilities and services; Dubai Municipality will enhance the infrastructure and service infrastructure of Al Mamzar Corniche Beach with service and public health facilities designed according to international standards that achieve flow with the shape of the beach, which will include: Toilets, changing rooms, and outdoor and indoor shower areas, as well as integrated facilities and services for people of determination, and an administrative building that includes a control room and first aid, in addition to smart services and systems supported by artificial intelligence for managing and operating beaches, such as; Surveillance cameras, drowning rescue systems, human density regulation, and smart luggage lockers.

The development work on Al Mamzar Corniche will also take into account preparing the beach to enhance investment and business development, by adding investment elements that include restaurants and services overlooking the waterfront, beach seating areas, and spaces designated for selling food and food products and outlets for selling beach supplies..
