Without losses…a 4.5-magnitude earthquake strikes southeastern Iran

Today, Monday, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck Kerman Province, southeastern Iran.
The Seismological Center of the Geophysical Institution at the University of Tehran reported that the strike occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The center added that the earthquake occurred 12 kilometers from the village of Block, 26 kilometers from Kahnuj, and 24 kilometers from Faryab in Kerman Province, and there have been no reports of losses so far.
It is noteworthy that Iran is exposed from time to time to earthquakes and earthquakes of varying strength, due to its location above a major fault zone.
