American police announce the death toll from a fireworks explosion in Honolulu

US police announced that a three-year-old child became the fourth person to die from injuries resulting from a massive fireworks explosion at a home in Honolulu on New Year’s Eve.
The explosion also resulted in the death of three women and the injury of more than 20 people, many of whom suffered burns to most of their bodies.

The US Army transferred six patients to Arizona for treatment last Saturday, because the only burn center in Hawaii does not have sufficient capacity to care for all the victims.
Hawaii leaders have intensified their repeated calls to crack down on the state’s widespread illegal fireworks trade by intensifying enforcement of seizures and imposing greater penalties.
