The Municipality of the Holy Capital worked to implement its plans to deal with the effects resulting from the rain that fell yesterday in Mecca.
This is part of its efforts around the clock and directly to deal and treat sites affected by the rainy situation, to ensure the safety of residents and the smooth flow of movement on public roads.
Water pools were suctioned out, dust was removed from the roads, and rainwater drainage holes were cleaned, to ensure the flow of floodwaters without obstacles.

Rainwater hazards

The Holy Capital Municipality broadcasts its awareness messages related to preventive measures in anticipation of the weather conditions expected in the Holy Capital, and to preserve the safety of residents, visitors, and pilgrims from the dangers resulting from rainwater.
The warnings included the need to monitor the weather conditions and the warnings of the National Center of Meteorology and official authorities about the rainy situation on an ongoing basis, and stress the necessity of adhering to instructions and staying at home when heavy rain falls, and staying away from water puddles and electricity sources in public places.
