Abdullah bin Zayed condoles by phone the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Republic of Turkey on the martyrdom of a helicopter crew
ABU DHABI, 24 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a telephone call with His Excellency Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Republic of Turkey, extended his sincere condolences to the friendly Republic of Turkey on the martyrdom of Major Sinan Taştekin of the Qatari-Turkish Joint Forces, and both Suleiman Cemra Kahraman and Ismail Anas Jan, from the crew and personnel of a helicopter, following a technical malfunction that led to it. It fell into the territorial waters of the State of Qatar.
His Highness affirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with the friendly Republic of Turkey in this painful tragedy.
He also expressed his sincere condolences to Turkey and the families and families of the martyrs, asking God Almighty to shower them with His mercy, and to protect the friendly Turkish Republic and its people from all harm.
