The Basketball Federation announces that Egypt will host the African Women’s Fifth Zone qualifiers
The Egyptian Basketball Federation, headed by Amr Moselhy, announced the federation’s approval to organize the African qualifiers for the fifth region for women.
The Basketball Federation’s approval of the decision to host the African qualifiers came during the federation’s recent board of directors meeting.
The African qualifiers for women’s basketball are scheduled to be held during the period from 3 to 8 February next.
He will participate in the qualifiers. 6 teams as follows: “The Egyptian team – The Kenyan team – The South Sudan team – The Ugandan team – The Burundian team – The Tanzania team."
The fifth African basketball region qualifiers will be held at Dr. Hassan Mustafa Hall. In 6th of October City.
The technical staff of the women’s basketball team is led by Captain Amr Assem as technical director, along with Ahmed. Ibrahim is a coach, Alia Mahmoud is an assistant coach, Alaa Mustafa is an administrator, Abdullah Adel is a load planner, Fatima Al-Borai is a physical therapist, Muhammad Jaber is a performance analyst, while Iman Jamal is in hospital.
